Are you an experienced Project Manager with SDF works expertise looking for a long-term freelance opportunity in the East of England? We are seeking a highly experienced Freelance Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of SDF works projects across the Cambridge region. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven PM with National Highways experience who enjoys managing multiple schemes while benefiting from genuine flexibility and long-term contract security.
Working with a leading infrastructure team, you'll be responsible for delivering 4-5 live projects simultaneously. While these schemes are typically valued in the hundreds of thousands, they require strong programme management, stakeholder coordination, and a proactive approach to health, safety, and delivery.
The role offers a flexible working arrangement, including working from home up to 2 days per week as well as at a variety of different offices based on location. Contracts are offered on a rolling 6-month basis, with work already secured through to at least Christmas and likely beyond.

- Proven experience delivering SDF works (essential)
