Reporting to: Operations Director

Location: Working from home/travel as required in the North West.

Salary: (up to £55,000)

Role

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end‐to‐end management of our schemes, acting as the main point of contact for clients, site teams, and senior management. Your role will focus on ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on budget, and to the highest standards. This position is based from home, with travel required depending on project locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and coordination to ensure smooth execution.
  • Act as the primary point of escalation for clients, operatives, and management.
  • Ensure projects meet agreed timescales, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Work closely with Supervisors & Operatives, providing support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, review site records, and compile reports for Commercial & Financial teams.
  • Attend client meetings and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Identify additional work opportunities, raise early warnings, and coordinate with the Commercial team.
  • Develop Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS) and ensure full Health & Safety compliance.
  • Assist with procurement, including take‐offs for materials, placing orders, and managing site deliveries.
  • Manage document control, ensuring accurate records of project changes and updates.
  • Conduct Toolbox Talks and Site Safety Audits to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform line management duties, including appraisals, team development, and recruitment.

About You

  • Experience in Project Management within Civils, Street Lighting, or Traffic Sign industries.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
