Carrington West is looking for a proactive and organised Business Administration Apprentice to join our Framework team in finance. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in credit control, invoicing, payments and accounts administration while working towards a recognised Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship. No previous finance experience is required. You will receive full training, ongoing support and the opportunity to build a long-term career within a successful, people-first business.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Managing Accounts and Pay and Bill inboxes
  • Responding to internal and external queries
  • Speaking with workers, clients and suppliers by phone and email
  • Entering timesheets accurately onto the pay and bill system
  • Checking timesheets for errors, duplication and missing information
  • Investigating rate and payment discrepancies
  • Reconciling self-bill invoices
  • Maintaining invoice trackers and financial records
  • Posting and allocating payments
  • Managing your own ledger with support
  • Producing sales invoices
  • Flagging overdue invoices and potential issues
  • Supporting the wider Credit Control team
  • Helping improve finance processes
