An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Permitting Coordinator to join a growing highways and civil engineering business based in Bristol. Working within a busy operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing permits and associated streetworks activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, legally and in line with programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and track permit applications from submission through to completion.
- Raise, coordinate and close works notices accurately and within required timescales.
- Monitor permit durations and arrange extensions where required.
- Coordinate road space bookings with Project Managers, Supervisors and operational teams.
- Liaise with Local Authorities, utility companies and other key stakeholders.
- Coordinate bus stop and parking suspensions, TTOs and TMAN applications.
- Monitor reinstatement inspections and proactively resolve issues relating to FPNs and inspection data.
- Maintain accurate permit records, trackers and databases using Excel and Microsoft Teams.
- Prepare monthly KPI reports and provide accurate permitting data to management.
- Ensure all works remain compliant with relevant legislation.
