An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager with experience in Highways and Transport Infrastructure to join a client in Oxford. Your main duties include delivering large scale highways and transport improvement projects, acting as a primary interface for various stakeholders, managing a multi-disciplinary contractor and design consultant team (highways, drainage and structures) as well as holding budget responsibilities for the programme.

This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £475 - £500 per day - negotiable for the right candidate and dependant on experience. Flexible working arrangements and working from home opportunities are available.

Working within the Highways team your main duties include:

  • Delivering major transport, highways and traffic infrastructure projects
  • Reviewing design drawings and overseeing cost control
  • Managing contract administration and NEC3/NEC4 compliance
  • Ensuring all highway elements of projects are delivered on time and within budget

Previous experience in Highways and Transport is essential for this role.
