Are you an experienced Comms Engineer who values a close-knit, collaborative team environment? This is an opportunity for you to join a dedicated design team working on critical TfL and London Underground projects.

Location: London - 5 days in office

Rate: £300 - £350 Outside IR35

Duration: Ongoing

We are an established company with a strong, "old-school" team culture. We believe the best work happens when we’re together, which is why this role is based 5 days a week in our Armstrong Road office. You’ll be joining a team of around eight professionals where you can easily collaborate on solutions and be part of a social office environment.

Your primary focus will be on the practical application and buildability of designs for London’s transport network.

Your role will involve:

  • Writing technical reports and specifications.
  • Sketching drawings for the CAD team.
  • Designing for a range of operational comms systems including CCTV, PA, help points, fibre optics, and telephony.
  • Problem-solving within a legacy technology environment.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong technical acumen in operational comms.
  • Can demonstrate an ability to produce practical, buildable designs.
  • Is a stable professional looking for a long-term opportunity.
  • Thrives in a collaborative, in-office team setting. (A TfL background is a bonus, but not essential).
