My client are a leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy specialising in transport planning, infrastructure design and water management and are based in Nottingham City Centre. As part of their continued growth, they are currently looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Engineer to join the Transport Planning team on a full-time basis.

As part of the role, you will be working with a team of experienced planners dealing with both large and small projects assisting in delivering a high spec service to clients.

The role as a Graduate Transport Planner includes:

  • Gain understanding of national and local transport policy and guidance.
  • Commission data collection studies and analyse the results.
  • Prepare technical reports including Access Appraisals, Highways Reports, Transport Statements, Transport Assessments and Travel Plans.
  • Prepare Environmental Impact Assessments.
  • Contribute to projects that promote walking, cycling, and public transport to encourage more sustainable travel choices.
  • Support project delivery working as a team.
  • Liaise with clients.
  • Undertake preliminary CAD design drawings and swept path analysis.

Skills & Experience: The role might be right for you if you have an undergraduate honours degree in a related subject (geography, civil engineering, town planning, environmental science).
