An award-winning civil and structural engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join their growing Norwich office. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong, creative, and client facing engineer to play a key role in delivering a wide range of design led projects across the UK.
About the Role
You will be joining a collaborative, design focused team that works on a variety of projects from heritage refurbishments and bespoke residential schemes to complex commercial, cultural, and educational buildings. You will take ownership of projects from concept through to delivery, working closely with architects, clients, and contractors to provide elegant and sustainable engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the structural design and delivery of projects across various sectors
- Manage client relationships and liaise with multidisciplinary teams
- Oversee project budgets, resourcing, and timescales
- Review and approve calculations, drawings, and specifications
- Mentor and develop graduate and design engineers within the team
- Support business development through project bids and client presentations
About You
- Chartered or near-Chartered with the ICE or IStructE
- Strong technical background with experience in building structures design
- Proficient in analysis and design software (e.g. Tekla, Tedds, Revit, Etabs)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
