The main purpose of the role will require you to line manage a small team of staff, the postholder will have delegated authority for decisions on planning applications. Key responsibilities will also require you to identify opportunities for service improvement and lead their implementation alongside the Development Manager and Head of Service.
Experience in a similar position is necessary. It would be beneficial to hold a Post-graduate degree in planning, regeneration or a related discipline, and have the eligibility for membership of RTPI.
