Deliver Critical Water Infrastructure
Carrington West is working with a key client delivering long-term AMP water projects across the Thames Valley. We are now seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to support the delivery of a new water main and pumping station build. This role will focus on supervising day-to-day site operations across network installation and pumping station civils within an operational water environment.
The Role
As Site Supervisor, you will oversee on-site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme, quality and commercial expectations. You will act as the key link between site teams and site management, supporting smooth project delivery from mobilisation through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site operations on new water main installation and pumping station civils
- Oversee excavation, pipe laying, thrust blocks, valve installations and associated concrete works
- Support pumping station construction including RC structures, bases and chambers
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental standards
- Deliver daily briefings and maintain permit systems and site documentation
- Monitor subcontractor performance and quality of workmanship
- Carry out inspections in line with ITPs and method statements
- Support temporary works and lifting activities as required
- Assist with materials coordination, plant allocation and progress reporting
- Maintain strong communication with the Site Manager and Project Team
About You
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor within the water sector
- Strong background in water mains installation, pumping stations and associated civils
- Experience working in live utility environments
- Confident supervising subcontractors and site operatives
- Strong understanding of quality assurance and site documentation

- CSCS Card
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- EUSR SHEA Water
- First Aid
- Full UK Driving Licence
