The Opportunity
We are working with a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering major projects across the South East Water and Southern Water frameworks. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced MEICA Project Manager to lead and deliver MEICA & commissioning elements of projects across the Kent and South East region.
This role will suit someone with strong leadership skills and proven experience managing MEICA delivery and commissioning in the water industry.
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead, plan and deliver MEICA and commissioning activities throughout the project lifecycle.
·Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
·Develop and implement MEICA and commissioning strategies.
·Manage design, construction, commissioning teams and subcontractors.
·Liaise with stakeholders including clients, designers, site teams and the supply chain.
·Provide accurate reporting and ensure compliance with industry standards and framework requirements.
·Drive best practice in safety, quality, and environmental standards.
·Oversee handover documentation including O&M manuals and commissioning records.
About You
·Extensive experience in MEICA design, delivery & commissioning on water and wastewater projects.
·Strong background in electrical/mechanical engineering
·Knowledge of hazardous areas / DSEAR and water industry standards.
·Strong leadership and project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects.
·Relevant HNC, degree or engineering apprenticeship in a related discipline.
·CSCS/ECS card and SMSTS required.
·Professional membership (IET, IMechE, SOE) advantageous.
