We are working with a growing utilities contractor looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor to support delivery across a diverse portfolio of utilities and building projects. This is a permanent opportunity offering exposure to both infrastructure and non-infrastructure schemes, with a strong pipeline of secured work. It would suit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to step up and progress their career, as well as an established Quantity Surveyor seeking broader project exposure.

You will play a key role in supporting the commercial management of projects from inception through to completion, working closely with operational teams to ensure effective cost control and contract compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing project costs, valuations, and financial reporting.
  • Administering contracts, primarily under NEC forms.
  • Handling variations, change control, and final accounts.
  • Supporting procurement and subcontractor management.
  • Ensuring commercial processes are followed across projects.

Ideal candidate

  • Experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor.
