Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum + Van & Fuel Card

Lead the delivery of essential water and wastewater projects. You will take charge of key mechanical works across the Anglian Water region for a well-established contractor as a Mechanical Supervisor, overseeing site teams and ensuring all installations, maintenance, and commissioning activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. What you will be doing:

  • Supervising and coordinating all mechanical works on water and wastewater treatment sites.
  • Managing teams of mechanical fitters, welders, and subcontractors to ensure high standards of safety and quality.
  • Overseeing mechanical installations, including pumps, valves, and heavy wastewater equipment.
  • Leading mechanical fitting, pipe fitting, and welding activities on site.
  • Ensuring compliance with HSE standards, client specifications, and framework requirements.
  • Working closely with Project Managers and Engineers to maintain progress and resolve technical challenges.
  • Conducting site inspections and toolbox talks to drive safety and performance.

What you will bring:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a mechanical discipline.
  • SMSTS or SSSTS and a valid CSCS card.
  • Proven experience supervising mechanical works within the water/wastewater sector.
  • Hands-on experience in welding, pipe fitting, and mechanical assembly.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, heavy wastewater equipment, and site operations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence (van and fuel card provided).
