Are you an experienced Revit Technician looking for greater project variety, technical responsibility and the opportunity to play a key role within a growing consultancy? An established civil and structural engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Revit Technician with approximately five or more years' experience to join its Manchester team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial and industrial developments, contributing to projects from the early design stages through to construction. You will work closely with experienced engineers and technicians while being given the autonomy to manage your own workload and take ownership of technical delivery.

The Role

  • Producing detailed structural drawings and models using Revit and AutoCAD
  • Working on residential, commercial and industrial developments
  • Preparing accurate general arrangement drawings, details and schedules
  • Developing and coordinating BIM models throughout the project lifecycle
  • Working closely with structural engineers, architects and other design disciplines
  • Identifying and resolving technical and coordination issues
  • Supporting projects from concept design through to construction
  • Maintaining high standards of drawing quality and document control
  • Contributing to the continued development of BIM and Revit processes

About You

  • Approximately five or more years' experience within a structural engineering or construction environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
  • Experience producing structural drawings for residential, commercial and industrial projects
  • A good understanding of structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber construction
  • Strong coordination and technical detailing skills
  • The ability to work independently and manage competing project deadlines
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • A desire to continue developing technically and take on greater project responsibility
