Have you had railway experience across LV, DC, MV, and HV electrical systems?

Location: North East England

Rate: Dependent on experience, outside IR35

Contract Length: 6 months initial, long term work

An railway subcontractor are currently seeking an experienced Testing & Commissioning Engineer to join the team supporting major E&P works taking place in the North East of England. Due to the nature of the work, only candidates with a Level A competency can be considered for this opportunity.

You will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting testing and commissioning activities across LV, DC, MV, and HV electrical systems, ensuring systems are fully compliant with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out testing and commissioning activities across LV, DC, MV, and HV electrical systems.
  • Ensure systems are installed, tested, and commissioned in line with design specifications and industry standards.

Essential:

  • Proven experience in electrical testing and commissioning across LV, DC, MV, and HV systems within a rail environment.
  • Level A competency.
