I'm currently working with a well-established and highly respected independent surveying practice that has built an outstanding reputation across the South Coast for delivering expert building surveying services across both residential and commercial sectors.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) or Associate Building Surveyor (AssocRICS) to join their team in Lyndhurst. This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor seeking genuine variety in their workload, exposure to interesting heritage and conservation projects, and the chance to play a key role within a growing consultancy.

The Role

  • Building and condition surveys
  • Defect diagnosis and building pathology investigations
  • Preparation of specifications, reports and tender documentation
  • Contract administration and project delivery
  • Procurement and compliance management
  • Client, contractor and stakeholder liaison
  • Supporting business development activities
  • Mentoring junior team members and supporting practice growth

About You

  • MRICS or AssocRICS status
  • Around 3+ years post-qualification experience
  • Strong knowledge of building pathology, construction and project management
  • Experience across residential and commercial property
  • Excellent report writing and client-facing skills
  • A proactive and commercially minded approach
  • Full UK driving licence

Strong APC candidates approaching chartership will also be considered.
