Transport Policy Officer   London   3 months - extension likely   Negotiable rate, £250 - £300 per day Are you a Transport Policy Officer looking for a new challenge?   Our client is an ambitious local authority who are seeking a Transport Policy Officer with experience in parking and kerbside strategy, to join them on a contract basis, initially for 3 months.   Your key responsibilities: ·Provide effective support to the Senior Policy Officer in delivering the Parking & Kerbside Strategy programme. ·Ensure project documentation, evidence and stakeholder information are accurate and well managed. ·Contribute to robust, evidence-led policy development. ·Support meaningful engagement with residents, businesses, stakeholders and community groups. ·Help ensure equality and accessibility considerations are embedded throughout strategy development. ·Assist in delivering the strategy programme on time and to a high professional standard. ·Contribute to the successful adoption and implementation of the Parking & Kerbside Strategy.   What is required? ·As the successful candidate, you will have experience of working in a local authority at a similar level and Transport Planning/Strategy background   In order to be considered within the first round of applicants please apply with updated CV, e-mailing (url removed), alternatively call on (phone number removed) for more information.
