The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Following an increase in workload, my client is looking to expand the Transport Planning team and are looking for ambitious and experienced transport professionals to help them to do so. They are looking for a Transport Planner or Senior Transport Planner who will have the opportunity to play a key role in the team by using their technical expertise and experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:

  • A solid understanding of traffic engineering first principles along with demonstrable experience.
  • Experience in the preparation of Transport Assessments and Travel Plans.
  • Experience of transport modelling software packages such as ARCADY, PICADY, LINSIG, and TRICS are essential, as well as AutoCAD and AutoTrack.
  • An ability to interpret the results of transport models.
  • Transport scheme design and appraisal with knowledge of relevant policy, guidance and advice including DMRB and MfS.
  • You should be able to analyse traffic data, then collate and interpret the information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely.
