Responsibilities- Prepare detailed Transport Notes, Statements, Assessments, Travel Plans and Site Access Appraisals.
- Apply your understanding of local and national transport policy and guidance to inform project delivery.
- Use Junctions software (ARCADY and PICADY) for technical assessments.
- Design traffic signals using LinSig.
- Develop preliminary designs for access, junction improvements and highways schemes in AutoCAD.
- Produce clear and engaging visual outputs using GIS software and/or Corel Draw.
- Take an active role in project management and client communication to ensure successful outcomes.
- Proven experience as a Senior Transport Planner or Transport Planner ready to progress.
- Proven experience in development transport planning.
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Geography or Transport Planning.
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work proactively on multiple projects.
- Membership (or working towards membership) of a professional body such as CIHT or ICE.
- 25 days annual leave, increasing with seniority.
