I am recruiting for two Environmental Manager opportunities on a nationally significant infrastructure project in London.
These roles offer the chance to work within embedded project teams, supporting the delivery of complex civil engineering and construction works while ensuring the highest environmental standards are maintained throughout the programme.
Working alongside contractors, delivery teams and senior stakeholders, you'll provide environmental leadership across a variety of construction activities, helping to identify risks, drive compliance and deliver practical environmental solutions.
Essential Experience working on major infrastructure or complex construction projects.
Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation, compliance and assurance.
Experience managing environmental risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience working with main contractors and multidisciplinary delivery teams. Confidence challenging contractors and influencing project teams where required.
Willingness to spend regular time on construction sites as part of an embedded project team.
Desirable Experience with biodiversity, ecology or landscape mitigation.
Experience managing Environment Agency permits.
Knowledge of waste management, noise and vibration controls.
Experience working alongside legal or environmental assurance teams.
