Our client is expanding their Birmingham office and is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to help form the foundations of a new MEP offering. With a strong pipeline of work across healthcare, residential and industrial projects, this is a business–critical hire supported by established client relationships and a solid reputation for quality delivery.
As the team grows, there is clear and realistic scope to step into a more senior or leadership position within the next 6–12 months, based on performance and contribution.

The role
You’ll take responsibility for the electrical design delivery on multiple building services projects, working closely with colleagues and clients to ensure high–quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading electrical design across a range of building services projects
- Delivering technically robust designs through RIBA Stages 1–4
- Coordinating with mechanical, architectural and other disciplines to ensure integrated solutions
- Liaising directly with clients and stakeholders to support smooth project delivery
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the development of the wider team
- Ensuring compliance with UK regulations and best practice, with healthcare knowledge beneficial
