We're currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a major transformation programme focused on service redesign, digital delivery and business improvement. This Senior Business Analyst role will lead on the development of Business Analysis frameworks and end-to-end BA delivery across a range of transformation projects. The successful Senior Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders, ICT teams and suppliers to support process redesign, solution implementation and business readiness activity.
The Role
- Lead the development and implementation of Business Analysis frameworks, standards and methodologies.
- Deliver end-to-end business analysis across transformation and digital projects.
- Elicit, document and validate business and system requirements.
- Produce process maps, data flows, user stories, impact assessments and business cases.
- Analyse existing services and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Support the design, testing and implementation of digital solutions.
- Work closely with stakeholders, project teams, ICT and suppliers across the full project lifecycle.
- Support business readiness, change activity and service redesign initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, DPIAs and relevant governance requirements.
Key Requirements
- Experience working as a Senior Business Analyst within transformation or digital programmes.
- Experience developing business analysis frameworks, processes and standards.
- Strong experience with process mapping, business requirements gathering and service redesign.
- Experience using BA tools and methodologies including Visio, UML, BPMN, JIRA or DevOps.
- Experience producing business cases, options appraisals, process maps and requirement specifications.
- Experience working across full project lifecycles including testing and implementation support.
- Knowledge of GDPR and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Degree, BCS qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience working within local government or public sector environments is desirable.
