I am working with a leading global engineering and transport consultancy that plays a critical role across the UK rail sector. With a strong presence on flagship infrastructure programmes, they are continuing to grow their multidisciplinary teams supporting complex station and rail environments.
They are now seeking an Electrical Building Services CRE to join their team supporting works at Old Oak Common. This is a permanent opportunity offering longâterm stability on a technically challenging and highâprofile project.
You will act as Contractor's Responsible Engineer (CRE) for Electrical Building Services, taking ownership of design assurance and technical compliance across Lighting and LV Power systems within a major rail infrastructure environment. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring designs meet safety, regulatory and project standards while maintaining programme and quality expectations.
Essential requirements:- Strong background in Electrical Building Services within rail or major infrastructure
- Proven experience in Lighting and LV Power systems
- Experience operating as a CRE, or Chartered Engineer status with the ability to undertake CRE responsibilities
- Inâdepth knowledge of rail standards and assurance processes
- Ability to work on site at Old Oak Common three days per week
- Experience on large-scale station or HS2ârelated works
- Prior involvement in complex multidisciplinary rail environments
