Are you an experienced EMC Engineer looking to lead integration on one of the UK’s most complex infrastructure programmes? Are you looking to work on a career defining project that will be going on for the next 10 years?
Salary: circa £75,000 to £98,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
Where: Birmingham/London office, in office 3 days per week, 2 from home
Closing date: 13th May
Essential requirements:
- Strong EMC experience on large infrastructure projects (rail desirable, not essential)
- Background in sectors such as rail, power, T&D, or renewables
- Experience working client-side or within a main contractor environment
- Strong understanding of EMC standards and regulatory frameworks
- Ability to lead through influence within matrix organisations
- Chartered Engineer or working towards
Key responsibilities:
- Lead EMC integration across multiple infrastructure and rail systems packages
- Develop and maintain standards, specifications, and EMC strategies
- Manage EMC risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Collaborate with contractors and SMEs to drive consistent delivery
- Engage with external stakeholders to manage interface risks beyond the railway
