We are currently looking for an experienced Housing Regulatory Compliance & Improvement Lead to support a housing provider following a successful regulatory inspection and C1 Consumer Grade. The role will focus on maintaining compliance with the Consumer Standards, embedding regulatory requirements into BAU and ensuring robust self-assessment, assurance and continuous improvement arrangements remain in place. The Role ·Maintain ongoing self-assessment and assurance against the RSH Consumer Standards. ·Support the organisation to demonstrate compliance and deliver regulatory improvement actions. ·Develop a consistent assurance framework to identify gaps, monitor compliance and drive improvement. ·Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms for Consumer Standards. ·Horizon scan RSH and Housing Ombudsman reports and implement relevant learning and good practice. ·Deliver Consumer Standards training, guidance and e-learning materials. ·Develop a regulatory toolkit and framework to be embedded into BAU. ·Support housing policy and strategy development, including research, drafting, implementation and performance monitoring. ·Work across housing services and with external partners to embed regulatory standards management. Key Requirements ·Strong knowledge of social housing regulation and the Consumer Standards. ·Experience delivering regulatory compliance, self-assessment and assurance within social housing. ·Experience developing regulatory frameworks, evidence bases and improvement plans. ·Knowledge of RSH and Housing Ombudsman requirements. ·Experience establishing regulatory KPIs and assurance reporting. ·Experience embedding regulatory requirements into BAU housing services. ·Experience supporting housing policy and strategy development.
