Location: York or Manchester (ideally) - willingness to attend either location if required
Rate: £350-£450 per day (Outside IR35, DOE)
Availability: Immediately available or 1 week notice
We are looking for an E&P Designer Engineer at Senior or Principal level to work on the TransPennine Route Upgrade. This role focuses on Electrical & Power design but is not Traction Power or HV. The scope covers rail E&P systems including points heating, signalling power, 650V, 400V, earthing and bonding. You will contribute to design delivery on a major rail infrastructure programme.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver E&P design for rail systems including points heating and signalling power.
- Work with 650V and 400V systems, including earthing and bonding.
- Support design delivery for the TransPennine Route Upgrade.
- Coordinate with wider project and engineering teams as required.
- Experience as an E&P Designer Engineer at Senior or Principal level.
- Proven experience in rail E&P design (non-traction power / non-HV).
- Knowledge of points heating, signalling power, earthing and bonding systems.
- Ability and willingness to attend York or Manchester offices when required.
