Are you an experienced LE1 or LE2 Overhead Linesperson looking for your next long-term contract on the SSEN Distribution Network? Our client is looking for experienced LE1 and LE2 Overhead Linespersons to support the delivery of works across the SSEN Distribution Network. This is an excellent opportunity to work on the construction, maintenance and refurbishment of LV, 11kV and up to 33kV overhead line networks as part of a long-term framework.
Job Role
As an LE1 / LE2 Overhead Linesperson, you'll carry out overhead line construction, maintenance and refurbishment works across the SSEN network, ensuring all activities are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with SSEN Electrical Safety Rules. Working as part of an experienced delivery team, you will undertake live and dead network activities, install and maintain overhead line assets, carry out testing, support vegetation clearance, operate plant and specialist equipment, and ensure all work complies with DNO standards, CDM regulations and company procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as an LE1 or LE2 Overhead Linesperson
- Experience working on LV, 11kV and up to 33kV overhead line networks
- Current DNO authorisations for Work on Dead Networks and Live LV
- Working SSEN authorisations are preferred, although equivalent DNO authorisations will be considered
- Pole Top Rescue & Working at Height
- NRSWA accreditation
- EUSR / SHEA Power
- NPORS MEWP and relevant plant tickets
- Emergency First Aid / First Aid at Work
- Manual Handling (Chainsaw qualifications advantageous)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong understanding of safe systems of work and risk assessments within high-risk electrical environments
