If you're a Senior Sub Agent with a strong background in water and reinforced concrete, this is an opportunity to take real ownership of delivery rather than simply being another layer in a large project team. You'll be joining a specialist civil engineering contractor delivering a substantial package on a water treatment site, taking responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of the works and directly managing a team of three Site Engineers.
You'll be trusted to lead your section of the project, drive the engineering team and make sure the site remains ahead of programme - from engineering and QA through to sequencing, temporary works and concrete delivery.
You'll have responsibility for:
- Leading and organising Site Engineers.
- Driving delivery of significant reinforced concrete works.
- Managing reinforcement, formwork, concrete pours and associated temporary works.
- Keeping engineering, QA, ITPs and as-builts ahead of construction.
- Managing short-term programmes and coordinating labour, plant and materials.
- Resolving technical and buildability issues before they affect delivery.
- Working closely with the Project Manager, site team and principal contractor.
- Delivering within the challenges and constraints of a water treatment environment.
