Role Responsibilities
- Designing tooling, jigs, fixtures, and mechanical components.
- Producing concept and detailed 3D CAD designs.
- Solving complex engineering and manufacturing challenges.
- Modifying and improving designs to meet project requirements.
- Supporting safety, reliability, and performance reviews.
- Producing technical documentation and reports.
- Managing design risks and project scope.
Key Skills
- Experience in Tooling Design or Mechanical Design.
- Background in defence, nuclear, aerospace, or heavy engineering environments.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and materials.
- Experience with Siemens NX or similar 3D CAD systems.
- Familiarity with Teamcentre or similar PLM systems.
- Understanding of engineering standards and safety legislation.
