Location: Yorkshire | Rate: Up to £500 per day (CIS/LTD) | Contract: 6 months+
What you'll be doing
- Managing the full lifecycle of electrical engineering projects, ensuring delivery on time, on budget and to high‑quality standards.
- Leading electrical installations on water industry schemes.
- Coordinating early‑stage site investigations and collaborating closely with clients, design teams and site personnel.
- Preparing and reviewing all health & safety documentation, including RAMS and project management plans.
- Overseeing procurement, supplier engagement and subcontractor management.
- Contributing to design reviews, cost tracking, and budget management.
- Driving innovation while ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Preparing detailed project programmes and managing ITPs throughout delivery.
- Supporting project close‑out through/test certification and O&M manuals.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Engineer within the water or utilities sector.
- Relevant electrical qualifications or significant industry experience.
- Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of Trimble (Amtech), AutoCAD or Relux is desirable.
- ATEX experience is beneficial but not essential.
