Location: Newcastle

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE)

Hours: Full-time (Hybrid working)

Carrington West are pleased to be working with a dynamic and forward-thinking consultancy based in Newcastle. With a reputation for delivering innovative and sustainable solutions, we are passionate about creating beautiful, functional spaces that positively impact communities and the environment.

We are looking for a talented and motivated Landscape Architect to join a growing team. You will work on a variety of projects ranging from public spaces, residential developments, and urban regeneration schemes to large-scale commercial projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse client base, delivering high-quality landscape designs that push creative boundaries while meeting practical and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design creative landscape solutions from concept to completion.
  • Collaborate with clients, planners, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Prepare technical drawings, 3D visualisations, and planting plans.
  • Undertake site assessments, including analysis and reporting.
  • Assist in project management and coordination, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Ensure compliance with UK planning and environmental regulations.

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
  • Membership or eligibility for membership with the Landscape Institute (LI).
  • Strong design and creative thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Vectorworks) and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
  • A genuine passion for sustainable and innovative design solutions.
