About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer (Production) to join a growing engineering business specialising in innovative pumping and wastewater treatment solutions. Working within the production team, you will be responsible for building, assembling and testing equipment before it is delivered to customer sites. Reporting to a Project Engineer, you will receive day-to-day support while working alongside experienced mechanical and electrical engineers in a busy workshop environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical experience or qualifications who enjoys practical engineering and wants to develop their skills further.
The Role
- Assemble and build mechanical equipment including pumps, pipework, valves, frames and skid-mounted systems.
- Support the production of hire fleet equipment and bespoke build-to-order products.
- Carry out refurbishment and modification of existing equipment.
- Work from engineering drawings, build specifications and P.
- Assist with testing, inspections and quality checks.
- Maintain a safe, organised workshop environment.
- Complete build documentation and follow quality and safety procedures.
