This contract role requires an experienced Infrastructure Engineer/Technician with a strong background in data centre infrastructure design. The position is outside IR35, offering flexibility in work arrangements. The role is based on a standard 37.5-hour work week. The Role 1.Design & Implementation: Design and implement robust infrastructure solutions for data centres, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and resilience. 2.Technical Expertise: Using software such as Microdrainage and Civil 3D. 3.Collaboration: Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams 4.Documentation: Prepare, review, and maintain detailed technical documentation, reports, and project specifications for infrastructure deployments. 5.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all infrastructure work adheres to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices, ensuring a secure and compliant environment. Skills Required ·Experience: Extensive experience in designing and implementing data centre infrastructure and associated drainage/road design. ·Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of design and management software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microdrainage. ·Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address challenges during the project lifecycle. ·Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and clients. ·Qualifications: A relevant engineering degree or equivalent professional qualification in infrastructure, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
