A leading main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced SHE Advisor to support the safe delivery of works on a major water project in Cambridgeshire. This is a site-based role working closely with operational teams to promote a strong health, safety and environmental culture whilst ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out site inspections, audits and safety tours.
- Support operational teams with risk identification and implementation of control measures.
- Ensure compliance with H.
- Provide coaching and practical SHE guidance to site teams and management.
- Deliver toolbox talks and support workforce engagement initiatives.
- Investigate incidents, near misses and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Support reporting, performance monitoring and continuous improvement activities.
- Liaise with project stakeholders to promote safe delivery.
