We are seeking an experienced Housing Support Business Lead to join a local authority in Berkshire, providing leadership across housing applications, systems and technical solutions. This role sits within the DDaT Core Management Team and leads the Housing Applications & Systems team.
You will be responsible for the management, support and development of a portfolio of housing and public protection systems, including the NEC integrated housing management system. Working closely with internal services and external suppliers, you will plan and oversee technical development delivered by both in-house and vendor-led teams, ensuring solutions meet business needs and council objectives.
You will act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders and suppliers, provide expert advice to senior managers, and ensure data integrity, system performance and effective user support. Leading by example, you will embed the Council's values and behaviours, support staff development and work collaboratively across the organisation to deliver high-quality, value-for-money services for residents.
