Highways Site Supervisor Northamptonshire £350 per day 3 month contract initially Are you an experienced Site Supervisor looking for a new challenge? An opportunity has arisen for a Highways Site Supervisor with experience in highway maintenance and improvements to join a client in Northamptonshire. This is a full-time contract position. Flexible working arrangements are available. Your main duties include: ·Ensure the Health and Safety of yourself, the workforce and the public in accordance with SHE processes and procedures. ·Managing and administering the construction works in accordance with the contract ·Assisting with the implementation of the duties of the Principle Contractor under CDM. ·Assisting with the implementation and ongoing compliance of the Construction Phase including inductions, and site rules. ·Pre start checks. This includes checking and documenting all PUWER and LOLER items, welfare is adequate and fit for purpose, spill kits are present etc. ·Assisting with the implementation and ongoing compliance of all relevant Risk Assessments (to cover every task on site), Method Statements, Safe Systems of Work and Point of Work Risk Assessment/Daily Brief documents. Essential requirements: ·SSSTS (CITB Supervisors Safety Training Scheme) or SMSTS (Site Management Safety Trainings Scheme) ·NRSWA Supervisor ·Driving licence (clean) About you: Previous experience in highways, and specifically maintenance, is essential for this role.
