Are you an experienced Supervisor with expertise in specialist lighting and technology within the highways sector?

We are seeking a Supervisor to work on highways electrical schemes within the region. As a Supervisor, you will oversee teams working on various lighting and technology schemes, ensuring all work is completed to specification, on time, and within budget. You will be responsible for:

  1. Supervising site activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  2. Coordinating resources, materials, and labour for efficient project delivery
  3. Liaising with clients, local authorities, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
  4. Conducting site inspections, quality checks, and risk assessments
  5. Supporting and mentoring team members to maintain high standards of workmanship

Requirements

  1. Experience in highways lighting, technology, or electrical infrastructure
  2. SSSTS or SMSTS certification (or willingness to obtain)
  3. Knowledge of NRSWA, CDM regulations, and industry standards
  4. A strong understanding of health & safety practices
  5. A full UK driving licence (essential)
  6. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
