Are you an experienced Supervisor with expertise in specialist lighting and technology within the highways sector?
We are seeking a Supervisor to work on highways electrical schemes within the region. As a Supervisor, you will oversee teams working on various lighting and technology schemes, ensuring all work is completed to specification, on time, and within budget. You will be responsible for:
- Supervising site activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Coordinating resources, materials, and labour for efficient project delivery
- Liaising with clients, local authorities, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
- Conducting site inspections, quality checks, and risk assessments
- Supporting and mentoring team members to maintain high standards of workmanship
Requirements
- Experience in highways lighting, technology, or electrical infrastructure
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of NRSWA, CDM regulations, and industry standards
- A strong understanding of health & safety practices
- A full UK driving licence (essential)
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
