Senior Civil Engineer (Drainage)
Are you an experienced Senior Civil Engineer (Drainage) looking to lead a wide range of development and infrastructure projects?
This role offers a chance to join a well‑established consultancy, oversee project delivery, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to successful engineering solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of drainage, highways and external infrastructure projects.
- Produce and review technical reports, calculations and engineering drawings.
- Design sustainable drainage (Su DS) and flood risk solutions in line with UK standards.
- Manage projects from concept through to construction.
- Liaise with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary design teams.
- Mentor and support junior engineers while maintaining high technical standards.
Qualifications
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience delivering drainage and infrastructure design projects.
- Strong knowledge of UK design standards, Su DS and development approval processes.
- Excellent communication, project management and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience using industry‑standard civil engineering design software.
- Working towards or already holding professional accreditation would be advantageous.
