Hours: 45 hours per week
- Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 6:00pm
- Friday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Project Engineer to join a growing project delivery team working on major infrastructure and industrial projects. This role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of electrical works from construction and installation through to testing, commissioning and project handover. Working closely with project managers, subcontractors, clients and design teams, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within specification and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage electrical subcontractors, suppliers and specialist vendors.
- Provide on-site electrical engineering support throughout construction, installation, testing and commissioning activities.
- Supervise electrical installations to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, industry standards and client requirements.
- Review technical documentation and resolve design queries, technical issues and non-conformances.
- Support project planning, programme delivery, progress monitoring and reporting.
- Witness and oversee inspections, factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), testing and commissioning activities.
