Carrington West are assisting their local authority client based in Oxfordshire in the search for a Technical Support Team Leader to join their Town Planning Development Management team on an initial 6-month contract. The successful candidate will manage the work of the Development Management Technical Support Team, responsible for providing an efficient and effective technical support service to Development Management, ensuring it meets statutory requirements and national and local targets and which contributes positively to the future of each District.
You will deal with all technical IT information, validation, land charge searches and administrative/clerical support relating to the most complex and controversial pre-applications, applications and appeals and/or enforcement cases, including those of a corporate priority to the Council and of national, regional and district significance and/or those of a complex/controversial nature and likely to result in significant local infrastructure contributions (many amounting to millions of pounds).
