We are recruiting an HVAC Design Manager to join a major HS2 infrastructure project, based at North Acton. This is an excellent long-term contract opportunity for a proactive MEP professional who can take ownership of HVAC design packages and drive them through design review, approval, certification and final sign-off.
The Role
- Manage HVAC / MEP design packages through to completion
- Lead design reviews, approvals and certification
- Manage technical issues with internal teams and external suppliers
- Ensure design compliance and delivery against project requirements
- Manage HVAC suppliers supporting the fit-out of shafts and headhouses
- Coordinate MEP deliverables and key stakeholders across the project
What We're Looking For
- Strong MEP / HVAC design experience
- Experience on major infrastructure or similar complex projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of design delivery
- CSCS White or Black Card, or ability to obtain one; MAP booking confirmation will be required if not currently held
