We are looking for a motivated and organised Graduate Project Manager to join our growing highways and infrastructure team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the highways sector and develop into a fully trained Project Manager working on National Highways contracts.

You do not need to hold a Civil Engineering degree to apply. We welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds including Construction Management, Project Management, Business Management, or individuals with relevant coordination, programme, or infrastructure experience who are highly organised and eager to learn.

This role is designed for someone with strong communication and organisational skills who wants to be developed through structured training, mentoring, and hands-on project delivery experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Project Managers in the delivery of highways and infrastructure projects
  • Assist with planning programmes, schedules, and project documentation
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and internal teams
  • Monitor project progress, actions, and deadlines
  • Support commercial, health & safety, and compliance processes
  • Attend site meetings and contribute to project reporting
  • Help manage project records, trackers, and contract documentation
  • Learn and understand National Highways standards, procedures, and contract requirements
  • Develop knowledge of highways maintenance, renewals, and infrastructure delivery
What We're Looking For
  • Degree or qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Business, Civil Engineering, or similar
  • Alternatively, relevant experience in project coordination, construction, infrastructure, utilities, or programme support
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Eagerness to learn and develop within the highways industry
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
