Are you a Graduate Geologist looking to develop your technical skills, gain hands-on site experience and build a long-term career in geotechnical consultancy? My client is recruiting for a Graduate Geologist to join a multidisciplinary engineering team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for you to work on varied geotechnical and ground investigation projects, supporting clients across sectors including infrastructure, rail, development, planning and public sector schemes.
What you will be doing
- Supporting the delivery of high-quality geotechnical solutions from initial investigation through to reporting and design input.
- Preparing desk studies, interpretative reports and geotechnical deliverables under supervision.
- Supporting the development of ground models, geotechnical assessments and design solutions.
- Applying geological and geotechnical engineering principles to live project work.
- Assisting with ground investigation supervision and coordination.
- Supporting project and contract management activities, including programmes and budgets.
- Preparing fee proposals, tenders and technical submissions with support from senior colleagues.
- Attending site visits, client meetings and project discussions appropriate to your level.
- Working closely with civil, structural and geotechnical teams.
