Rate: £25 - £30 per hour CIS or Umbrella

My client, a large water industry contractor specialising in mechanical & electrical installation within the water industry, is currently looking for a Mechanical Fitter with either water industry or industrial experience to join their team. The ideal person will have water experience; however, we are very open to taking on people with industrial experience.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Installing steel pipework
  • You will be involved in both water and waste water projects involving maintenance of pumps, pipes, bridge repairs along with other related tasks as well as some installation work.
  • Installing FBE coated flanged pipework up to 800mm, also installing pumps, valves and plant.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified mechanical fitter (NVQ or "City and Guilds" level 3)
  • CSCS card essential
  • EUSR (Blue water Hygiene)
  • IPAF
  • PASMA
