We are looking for an experienced Construction Assurance Engineer with a background in Geotechnical Engineering and Earthworks to support major HS2 works in Brackley. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong design experience who has transitioned into site-based delivery, project engineering, or assurance roles within major infrastructure environments.
You will play a key role in ensuring earthworks and geotechnical packages are delivered safely, compliantly, and in accordance with approved engineering designs and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out site inspections and assurance activities across earthworks packages
- Review QA/QC documentation, ITPs, and Work Package Plans
- Ensure compliance with geotechnical designs and specifications
- Witness testing activities including material and field testing
- Raise and manage defects and NCRs
- Audit construction quality and assurance procedures
- Liaise with site delivery, design, and quality teams
