Job Title: Civil Project Manager Location: Exeter / South West - Predominantly site-based with occasional office / home-working. Rate: £400-£500/day Outside IR35 Contract: Long-Term Contract Start Date: ASAP - Immediate Start Preferred We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join a long-term Network Rail fencing contract, covering the Western region from Weston-super-Mare to Penzance. The role is highly process-driven, managing multiple fencing projects from cradle to grave - including access, labour, materials, programming, client liaison, delivery and handover. Where you will add value: ·Manage a workbank of approximately 50 projects per year ·Develop programmes and delivery schedules ·Coordinate 2-3 fencing teams across multiple sites ·Manage works from initial planning through to completion and client handover ·Plan labour, order materials and ensure teams have the correct paperwork and equipment ·Manage client and stakeholder relationships ·Coordinate third-party access, ecology, ground conditions, weather and equipment requirements ·Monitor progress, deal with changes and react to issues or emergencies ·Complete handovers, manage snags and ensure works are delivered safely and to the required standard To succeed in this role, you will need: ·Project Management or Senior Construction Management experience ·Experience within minor civils infrastructure within rail would be beneficial ·Strong organisational and multitasking skills ·Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously ·Good client and stakeholder management skills ·Understanding of working within a structured framework or contract environment ·Rail experience is beneficial but deep rail engineering or fencing experience is not essential ·PTS can be provided; CSCS is desirable but not essential Why this contract stands out: ·Long-term opportunity on a 6-year Network Rail contract ·Potential to continue for the duration of the framework for the right contractor ·Predominantly site-based across the South West, with 1 day per week available for admin/home working ·Opportunity to take ownership of a substantial, multi-million-pound workbank. ·Strong fit for a Construction Manager looking to step into Project Management ·One-stage Teams interview process ·Immediate start preferred to allow for a full handover before Christmas If you're a Project Manager or Construction Manager with relevant infrastructure experience and are looking for a long-term contract in the South West, get in touch for a confidential discussion
