Key Responsibilities:

  • Process data for the co-ordination and processing of TRO's using appropriate IT systems to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • To deliver a specialist service in the making of permanent Traffic Regulation Orders taking into consideration the requirements as set down in the prevailing legislation.
  • Delivering specialist technical advice, guidance, and expertise on traffic regulation orders to colleagues, contractors, and other parties both internal and external.
  • To lead on the maintenance and consolidation of existing Traffic Regulation Orders and introduction of new Orders as necessary.
  • Be responsible for the invoicing of Orders to third parties / stakeholders and keeping audit logs for payments received regarding the processing and making of all traffic regulation orders.
  • To work with the relevant team to support public consultation exercises, where these are required, for more extensive parking and transport schemes, providing technical advice as required.
