My client is looking for either a graduate or assistant level candidate to join their team. Candidates can be fresh out of University or have some post graduation experience in a highway engineering or transport planning background.

Candidates should as a minimum have a first degree in a civil engineering or transport planning / economics subject. Candidates are expected to be literate in the use of Microsoft Office packages. Experience in the use of AutoCad and 3D modelling packages would be advantageous as would experience in the use of ARCADY, PICADY, TRANSYT and TRICS, although in house training will be provided.

The role would be full time and based 5 days a week at their offices in Saffron Walden in Essex. They are a small highway, transportation and drainage consultancy who have been trading for over 25 years and can offer experience on a range of different projects varying in size from single dwelling proposals to major schemes with varying land uses including residential, commercial, retail and education.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
