The Role and Responsibilities

  • Managing multiple bridge and structural maintenance projects across highways and infrastructure environments
  • Overseeing works including bridge waterproofing, expansion joints, concrete repairs and structural protection systems
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
  • Managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure efficient project delivery
  • Acting as the key point of contact for clients throughout project delivery
  • Monitoring programme performance and resolving delivery challenges where required
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and industry standards
  • Providing leadership and support to project and site management teams
  • Supporting commercial management including budgets, variations and contract performance

Must Have Skills and Experience

  • Experience delivering civil engineering or highways infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of bridge maintenance, structures or structural protection works
