Location: Reading (2-3 days on-site per week)

Rate: £65 an Hour - Inside IR35
Role Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality electrical and C&I designs across all project phases, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards alongside collaborating across disciplines to ensure design integrity is upheld through the full project lifecycle.
- Interpret and apply legislation, technical standards, and industry best practice to engineering outputs.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality and environmental assurance, raising any concerns through the appropriate channels.
- Support continual improvement in engineering practice, ensuring designs are clear, compliant, and efficient.
What We’re Looking For:
- ONC/OND (minimum) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (HNC/HND preferred).
- Solid background producing electrical or control & instrumentation designs within highly regulated industries.
- Proficiency with engineering tools, drawing packages and office software and experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary design team.
- Great knowledge of engineering standards, particularly those relating to safety, design compliance, and lifecycle assurance.
